Sister Pie is another absolute gem in Detroit! Anytime we are in the city this is a must stop. People from all walks, leave here with a smile. Banana Pete pie, Key lime pie, and sweet potato marshmallow are my top 3 faves.

I’ve visited Sister Pie in every season, many times over the years, and what I’m always floored by (in addition to the heavenly and unforgettable pie shop aroma), is the joy, energy, and life this place has. It’s about so much more than pie, but the pie is GOOD. I love that, no matter the season, there is always something exciting on the menu. Some of my favorites are the zucchini cornmeal muffin, the coffee chess pie, the egg on top galettes, the Banana Pete, the buckwheat chocolate chip cookie. Long Live Sister Pie!

If you have the chance to sign up for any class, especially the savory hand pie one, DO IT! Had such an enjoyable time learning from Lindsey and Gus, who were great instructors on making the all butter dough. Bought this as a birthday gift for a friend and it was the perfect experience gift. Each person in the class also got a goodie bag of treats to try. Sister Pie will be a go to destination in the future!

I came here after reading so many great reviews about this place. Everyone was very friendly the place itself was super cute. I got the rosemary cookie, blueberry rhubarb pie and the $5.00 mystery bag. Everything so far is amazing. So I will be back again. The prices were reasonable.

Get here early for the best selection! The place is small inside but there is a selection of tables outside to sit. The scones were super moist and the buckwheat chocolate chip cookies were a favourite. I tried a slice of the Banana Pete pie and it was amazing! I will definitely be coming back to try more pie flavours and some of their other treats as well.
